Arkel Constructors completed the renovation of LSU’s John G. Turner & Hango G. Fischer Recital Hall, transforming one of the university’s busiest performance venues into a modern space for students, faculty, and guest performers. The project included a comprehensive acoustic redesign, raised ceilings, new seating, upgraded lighting, and modernized HVAC and humidity control systems. Additional improvements included a new recording studio, enhanced audiovisual technology, updated backstage areas, and infrastructure supporting livestreaming and professional-quality recordings. Hosting nearly 180 student recitals annually, the renovated hall provides an enhanced performance and learning environment for future generations.
