Arkel Constructors completed the construction of a 6,587-square-foot Birthing Center at Woman’s Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Birthing Center was designed to provide a dedicated environment supporting mothers and newborns throughout the childbirth experience, complementing Woman’s Hospital’s comprehensive labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal services. Construction within an active healthcare environment required careful coordination to maintain hospital operations while delivering the new space.
