Arkel Constructors is proud to be part of the transformation of the former Louisiana Emerging Technology Center on the LSU campus into the new home for the LSU Military Sciences Program, home of the LSU ROTC Flying Tigers and Tiger Battalion. This comprehensive renovation will create a state-of-the-art training and academic facility designed to support the development of future military leaders.
The project reimagines the existing building into a modern, mission-focused environment featuring advanced training amenities, including a flight simulator, indoor firing range simulator, rappelling tower, and an indoor turf training field. In addition to these specialized spaces, the facility will include classrooms, locker rooms, and dedicated office areas to support both instruction and daily operations for the program.
Once complete, the new LSU Military Sciences facility will provide cadets with an innovative training environment that combines cutting-edge simulation technology with functional academic and operational spaces, strengthening LSU’s commitment to leadership development and military excellence.
