ACSC, a joint venture between Arkel Constructors and Southern Constructors, is serving as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the new 132,290-square-foot aircraft maintenance hangar at Acadiana Regional Airport in New Iberia, Louisiana. Developed for the Iberia Parish Airport Authority, the project will expand the airport's maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) capabilities while supporting the continued growth of Aviation Exteriors Louisiana (AVEX). The development includes a state-of-the-art aircraft maintenance hangar, expanded aircraft apron, parking, and supporting infrastructure designed to accommodate large commercial aircraft. Upon completion, the facility will strengthen Louisiana's aviation industry, enhance regional economic development, and position Acadiana Regional Airport for continued growth in the aerospace sector.
