Arkel Constructors is proud to be part of the next phase of St. Aloysius’ campus in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The project includes the construction of two new facilities: a 15,600-square-foot Parish Activity Center and an 18,000-square-foot Gymnasium.
The Parish Activity Center will provide a new gathering space for parish and community activities, including small group meetings, Boy Scouts, coffee and donuts, and other parish functions. The Gymnasium will serve as the school’s primary competition facility, featuring a full-size basketball court designed to accommodate two full-court practices simultaneously for basketball and volleyball, along with two sets of spectator bleachers.
The project also includes the first phase of a central mechanical plant that will provide more efficient air conditioning and ventilation for the new facilities, with the system designed to support additional campus buildings in future phases.
Together, these facilities represent an important step in St. Aloysius’ long-term campus development, providing spaces designed to support the school and parish community for years to come.
